This place has been around forever and I like thier radio ads, they say "you don't need an ascot or an oversized handbag to eat here, just an appetite) this is particularly funny considering it's location, so I decided to shoot the sign, kind of cool I thought, but it didn't quite turn out like I wanted:

The next day I decided to take a walk in Denver's City Park, again a dissapointment, between the goose shit and statues of people I never heard of there wasn't much. We do have a wonderfully beautiful Martin Luther King Jr memorial, but not really any good angle to shoot a polaroid from. I did find a decent angle on the park pavillion though:
.
The walk around the park was nice though.

In the interest of blogging al of my last rolls of polaroid I did get this great shot in my neighborhood:

I also wasted an entire film pack on an sx-70 I found at a used camera shot for $3.Needless to say I got what I paid for, a $3 camera, and a roll of film.

Other than this I got two shots of my wife and two of my daughter, they are on my flickr page. I really think my film is going to fast, I may have to break down and buy more....

Nearing the end

I'm getting pretty near the end of my Polaroid 600 stash. I suppose I'll be able to find some more here and there but as for now it looks like the glory days of shooting at will are over.

I've decided that since this is the case I would blog about all the sessions I have with my beloved Polaroid until the end.

I've been shooting 600 film. I did some research on this film before I started (after the death of sx-70 time-zero film) and the general feeling seems to be that it was NOT manliputable. Being hard headed as I am I wasn't willing to buy this. Sure enough it is manipulatable, though not in the pretty "impressionistic" way as the time-zero was. Instead you get "ugly""dirty" manipulations, but to me they look like art ( maybe I'm just nuts)

I've been using this format since October of last year and I'm really liking my results. Lately I've been trying to really get some value out of my shots rather than truly experimenting with the film, as i would have done given more time and more film resources.

I guess when I am done with my stash I'll move on to a Lubitel.

Here are a few shots taken the other day in Denver. enjoy!
